Deborah Leipziger has 26 years of experience working in the fields of corporate responsibility (CR) and sustainability. She has advised leading multinational companies on strategic and supply chain issues including Heineken, Shell, Primark, Adobe, Ajinomoto, and the Boston Beer Company.
Deborah has taught corporate executives about sustainability and corporate responsibility in the US, Europe, Latin America, and Africa. She lectures at Bard’s MBA in Sustainability Program and at Simmons College. Prof. Leipziger is a Senior Fellow in Social Innovation at the Lewis Institute at Babson College.
She is the author of several books including The Corporate Responsibility Code Book, now in its third edition (Greenleaf, 2015). Her books have been translated into Portuguese, French, Korean, and Chinese and are used to teach about corporate responsibility in many universities. Deborah played a key role in the development of several standards relating to social accountability.
